About-

We create six fresh, wholesome dips with a difference. We have three lovely Lincolnshire ladies, who make the dips from scratch in Maggie Mixers using high quality and local produce. The dips are suitable for indulgent yet healthy grazing and perfect for a party. All the dips use ten or less ingredients and contain no additives or preservatives. Our scrumptious dips are gluten free and the three chickpea based dips are suitable for Vegans.

As It was Halloween on Friday I decided to do some late night nibbles so got my thinking cap on a came up with the idea to carve some peppers into spooky faces.

Thought they did not look too bad so then wanted to incorporate some of the dips I had been given to test and soon got into creating this.......

My Partner and I first had a go with two tips that I put out, must admit was thinking "hmmmm not sure" before got tasting them. We had been pleasantly surprised by the taste from the pea and chick pea warming wassbi but was not as keen on the tahini & lemon seemed a little bland and tasteless.

Do think with these you have to be very keen on Hummus was a little disappointed that they only do hummus thought they might of come up with some normal dips without this element as do find it limits alot of people.

Kickpea sweet & spicy chickpea dip with a chilli kick.

Try dipping with any crunchy veg or slather on roasted red peppers in a tortilla wrap.

Sweetbeetsweet & fiery beetroot dip with mint and chilli.

Try dipping with slices of crunchy apple or pear.

Artithyme- cool & herby garlic dip with artichoke & thyme.

Try dipping with chargrilled asparagus spears or load inside crispy potato skins or a fajita wrap.

Mackerelata- Lght & creamy smoked mackerel dip with lemon & parsley.

Try dipping with toasted pitta bread or be ‘oh so healthy’ and load inside baby gem lettuce leaves.

All pots are suitable for home freezing and are priced around £2.99 (each)

We did find that their is a huge variety of flavours to choose from to suite each individual taste, they are extremely healthy and perfect for on the go or for entertaining.

Six of the dips in the range and they are all gluten free which is so good to know as I do get people asking when doing food product review "are they gluten free".

Entertaining

You could also make a platter with triangles of pita bread and other raw veggies when entertaining your guests or Spread on a plate, drizzled with olive oil, sprinkled with sumac and lemon juice, decorated with olives (optional) and dipped with warm soft pita bread or any flat bread available.

Many Thanks to the PR team of The Dip Society for letting our blog review a selection of dips.
